Product finisher for textiles

Product finishers for textiles set up the machines and equipment in the finishing departments of spinning and weaving mills, tapestries and knitting factories, maintain them and ensure optimal product quality.

What conditions do I have to meet?

• good secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
• good grades in German and Mathematics
• interest in technical developments
• chemical and technical understanding
• good motoric skills
• team ability

What does the training look like?

• duration of training: 3 years
• work in production and fabric inspection
• setup, operation and maintenance of production machinery and equipment
• monitoring of process operations
• assigning and handling of materials, operating materials and auxiliaries
• applying textile finishing methods
• vocational school
